Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification preferred (ACCA, CPA, CIA, or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant internal audit experience, preferably in the retail or jewelry sector.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, risk management, and compliance regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Job Description
- Develop and implement a comprehensive internal audit strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Conduct thorough audits of financial statements, operational procedures, and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Plan, schedule, and execute audits across all departments, ensuring full coverage of key risk areas.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of internal controls, recommending enhancements where necessary.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize risks to inform audit planning and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure the timely implementation of audit recommendations.
- Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing findings, risks, and actionable recommendations for senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Conduct follow-up audits to confirm timely execution of corrective actions.
- Provide compliance and risk management guidance to various departments.
- Mentor and supervise junior audit staff, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by the Board of Directors.
